Time plays its scars on us, as it plays itself in the ice and the dust.

Desperately realize
Half the world is blind and dangerous.
It ain’t no surprise

It’s made little difference in this circle I’m travelling.

You harden at some things, while others soften as you try.
History doesn’t vibe with yours and mine
I am fine with anonymity.
We have little choice
Between what’s left
And what we’re leaving.
I was just a moment
As you were a flashing spark!
Born from the cosmic nothing
And we flow back into the dark.
What fear propels me!
Would we want immortality?
With the mortgage due on this body,
Like sand back into sea.
Yes we were something once, but now the bitch of entropy.
The future mystery has no room, no room for you and me.
The future a history, if there are still eyes to read.
